Our Bolt link is a referral link: if you sign up through it, Bolt may reward us, at no extra cost to you. How we make money.

Searching for a Lovable, Base44, Bolt, Replit or Softr discount code turns up a lot of “100% off” coupons and “30% off” videos. We didn’t use any of them. On Oct 30, 2026 we opened each vendor’s own pricing page, help docs and program pages, and wrote down only the offers the vendor itself publishes. Every cell in the table below links to the page we read and is dated. If we couldn’t find an offer on an official page, the table says so. That doesn’t mean the offer doesn’t exist, only that the vendor doesn’t publish it where we looked.

We didn’t buy anything or claim any of these discounts. Eligibility and checkout behavior are as each vendor describes them.

Quick verdict (as of Oct 30, 2026)

  • Students: Lovable, Base44 and Replit each publish a 50% student offer on their own pages. Lovable’s covers Pro (100 credits, billed monthly) for up to 12 months. Base44’s covers Starter or Builder. Replit’s covers Core with a .edu email. We found no student offer on Bolt’s or Softr’s official pages.
  • Nonprofits: Softr publishes a 50% nonprofit and education discount. Base44 says it handles nonprofit pricing case by case.
  • Startups: only Base44 publishes a startup program on its own site: a free annual license for approved founders.
  • Paying yearly saves money on all five. By our math from each pricing page, it saves 10% (Replit) to 28% (Bolt Pro).
  • Referral links: Bolt’s gives new subscribers 20% off, with no code needed. Lovable, Base44 and Replit referral links give credits instead of a price cut.
  • Promo codes: none of the five publishes a public promo code on the pages we checked. Treat any code you find elsewhere as unverified.

All prices are in USD before tax, as shown on each vendor’s page on Oct 30, 2026. Offers change without notice, so check the linked page before you pay. We didn’t buy any plan or claim any of these discounts. Full quotes and fetch times are in our evidence log.

What paying yearly actually saves (our math)

We worked these out from the monthly and yearly prices on each pricing page on Oct 30, 2026. We multiplied the monthly price by 12 and compared it with the yearly total. Where a vendor shows only a per-month yearly rate, we multiplied that rate by 12.

  • Bolt Pro: $25 × 12 = $300 a year monthly, vs. $216 billed yearly. You save $84 (28%). Bolt Teams: $30 × 12 = $360 vs. $324 per member, so you save $36 per member (10%).
  • Base44 (Base44 says 20% on every paid plan):
  • Starter: $240 vs. $192, you save $48
  • Builder: $600 vs. $480, you save $120
  • Pro: $1,200 vs. $960, you save $240
  • Elite: $2,400 vs. $1,920, you save $480
  • Softr:
  • Basic: $300 vs. $228, you save $72 (24%)
  • Pro: $1,428 vs. $1,188, you save $240 (about 17%)
  • Business: $4,740 vs. $3,948, you save $792 (about 17%)
  • Lovable:
  • Pro: $300 vs. $250, you save $50 (about 17%, “2 months free”)
  • Business: $600 vs. $500, you save $100
  • Replit:
  • Core: $240 vs. $216, you save $24 (10%)
  • Pro: $1,200 vs. $1,080, you save $120 (10%)

Yearly billing only saves money if you’d have kept paying for the whole year. Lovable, Base44 and Bolt all let you move from monthly to yearly later, so you can test a monthly plan first. Going back is harder. Base44 says you can’t change a yearly plan to a monthly one yourself, and Bolt says an annual plan can only be upgraded to a higher annual plan (each vendor’s billing docs, Oct 30, 2026). Student discounts, tool by tool

Lovable. Students and teachers get 50% off Pro with 100 credits, billed monthly, for up to 12 months. By our math that’s $12.50 a month instead of $25, and Lovable’s student page gives the same figure. You verify on lovable.dev/students with your school email, and your workspace has to be on the Free plan when you do. Lovable’s plan docs say higher Pro tiers, annual billing and other plans aren’t eligible, and top-ups cost the standard price. One thing to watch: the FAQ on lovable.dev/students also mentions “a discount of $12.50/month on all other plans,” which doesn’t match the docs. We follow the docs here. Confirm the discounted total at checkout before you pick a bigger plan. For full detail, see our Lovable pricing breakdown.

Base44. Students, teachers and staff at K-12 schools, colleges, universities and other accredited institutions get 50% off Starter or Builder. By our math, monthly that’s $10 instead of $20 for Starter, or $25 instead of $50 for Builder, for up to 12 months. On annual billing the 50% covers the first year. You must be on the free plan with a personal (not team) workspace. Base44 checks a school email with a 6-digit code, and your Base44 account can keep a personal email. The academic discount and a promo code can’t be combined. If you cancel during the discount period, you lose it.

Replit. On its student page, Replit says “50% off Core with your .edu email” and shows Core at “$10 / month with .edu email”. That’s half of the $20 monthly Core price on replit.com/pricing. The page doesn’t say how long the discount lasts, whether it covers yearly billing, or whether non-.edu school emails qualify. Some third-party sites describe different Replit student terms. We go by Replit’s own page, and we couldn’t confirm anything beyond what it says.

Bolt and Softr. We found no student-only offer on bolt.new/pricing, Bolt’s billing help page or Bolt’s FAQ. Softr’s 50% discount covers education institutions together with nonprofits. Its form describes it as being “for non-profit and education institutions.” Softr doesn’t describe an individual-student discount, so ask Softr whether a student qualifies before you assume you do.

A referral link is a link from an existing user. Signing up through one is the only “code-free” discount we found among these five tools.

  • Bolt is the only one whose referral link cuts the price. You get 20% off your first subscription: for 3 months on a monthly plan, or once on an annual plan. It works on Pro or Teams, and the discount applies automatically at checkout. By our math, that’s $5 a month off Pro for 3 months ($15 total). Bolt doesn’t publish a dollar figure for the annual case, and its referral landing page (bolt.new/platform/referral) mentions only the first three months, so check the total at checkout before you pay for a year. Our Bolt link is our referral link. If you subscribe through it, you get Bolt’s referral discount and Bolt may reward us. It costs you nothing extra. Any Bolt user’s referral link gives the same discount, so use a friend’s if you prefer. Bolt’s tip: sign up through the link before you subscribe, or the discount won’t apply.
  • Lovable: a new user who signs up through an invite link gets 10 bonus credits. Lovable’s docs say referral credits expire 12 months after they’re granted.
  • Base44: a new user who signs up through a referral link gets 30 credits. Base44’s FAQ says referral credits expire 40 days after they’re earned. Base44’s yearly Builder, Pro and Elite plans also list “25 credits to share with a friend.”
  • Replit: when someone you refer becomes a paying customer, you each get $20 in Replit credits.

Promo codes we couldn’t verify

On Oct 30, 2026 we found no public promo code published by Lovable, Base44, Bolt, Replit or Softr on the pages listed in our sources. So this page lists no codes. Base44, Bolt and Softr each have a promo-code field at checkout, according to their billing docs. That means codes do exist, typically handed out by the vendor in campaigns, events or partner programs. A field at checkout doesn’t make a code you found online real.

How to check a code is real

  1. Find it on the vendor’s own site. That means the pricing page, the help docs, the vendor’s blog or an email from the vendor’s own domain. A coupon site, a video or a social post isn’t proof.
  2. Check the terms before checkout. Look for which plan the code covers, how many months it lasts and who’s eligible. Base44, for example, won’t stack a promo code on its academic discount.
  3. Look at the checkout total before you pay. Base44 says its academic discount is shown before you confirm. Bolt says its referral discount applies automatically at checkout, and to contact support before you complete the purchase if it doesn’t.
  4. Never pay for a code, or give your login or card to a “code generator.” None of the vendors’ pages we read sells or generates codes.

Nonprofits and startups

  • Nonprofits: Softr publishes a 50% discount on self-serve plans for nonprofit and education institutions, and you apply through a form. Base44 offers nonprofit pricing “on a case-by-case basis,” through support. We found no published nonprofit offer from Lovable, Bolt or Replit.
  • Startups: Base44 for Startups gives approved independent founders a free annual Builder license. Partner-backed founders can claim an annual Pro license plus $1,000 in credits, and Base44 says those credits are “valid for 6 months from activation.” We found no published startup program on Lovable’s, Bolt’s, Replit’s or Softr’s official pages.

Before you pay anything: try the free plans

All five tools have a free plan, so the cheapest option is often to test free before you buy any discounted plan. Our free AI app building guide compares the Bolt, Lovable and Base44 free plans. Bolt Free is the only one we tested hands-on; the others come from each vendor’s pages. Our tracker of current plan prices keeps every price in one place. Our pricing alerts email you when a plan’s price, credits or limits change. They don’t cover discount offers, so check the vendor’s own page before you pay.

Honest notes

  • What we checked, and what we didn’t: we read each vendor’s public pages on Oct 30, 2026. We didn’t buy any plan, claim any discount, verify a student email or apply to a startup or nonprofit program, so we can’t confirm how checkout behaves.
  • “None found” means what it says. It covers the official pages listed in our sources. A vendor may still offer something through sales, support or events.
  • The pages sometimes disagree. Lovable’s student-page FAQ and its plan docs describe slightly different eligibility (see above). Replit’s student page doesn’t give a duration.
  • The math is ours. Yearly savings and discounted monthly prices are calculated from the prices on each page. Vendors may round differently at checkout, and tax is extra.
  • On our referral links: on this page, only our Bolt link is a referral link. The table and verdict are the same whether or not a vendor rewards us.

AI app builder discounts FAQ

Yes. As of Oct 30, 2026, verified students and teachers get 50% off Lovable Pro with 100 credits, billed monthly, for up to 12 months. You verify with your school email on lovable.dev/students while your workspace is on the Free plan. Lovable’s docs say annual billing and higher tiers aren’t eligible.

Does Bolt have a student discount?

We found no student discount on Bolt’s official pricing, billing or FAQ pages on Oct 30, 2026. The published way to pay less on Bolt is yearly billing (“Save up to 28%”) or signing up through a referral link, which gives 20% off your first subscription.

Does Replit have a student discount?

Yes, according to Replit’s own student page on Oct 30, 2026: “50% off Core with your .edu email,” shown as $10 a month. The page doesn’t say how long the discount lasts. Terms quoted elsewhere online didn’t match Replit’s page, so go by replit.com/edu/students.

Does Base44 have a student or education discount?

Yes. Students, teachers and staff at academic institutions get 50% off Starter or Builder, for up to 12 months on monthly billing or the first year on annual billing, after verifying a school email. It can’t be combined with a promo code.

Are there working promo codes for Lovable, Base44 or Bolt?

None of the three published a public promo code on its official pages when we checked on Oct 30, 2026, so we list none. Base44 and Bolt have promo-code fields at checkout, but a code found on a coupon site or video isn’t verified. Check the vendor’s own site and the checkout total before you pay.

Which AI app builder has a nonprofit discount?

Is paying yearly worth it?

Only if you’ll use the tool all year. By our math from each pricing page on Oct 30, 2026, yearly billing saves $84 a year on Bolt Pro, $50 on Lovable Pro, $48 on Base44 Starter, $72 on Softr Basic and $24 on Replit Core. Test the monthly plan first if you’re unsure.

Yes. Bolt’s help center says anyone who subscribes through a referral link gets 20% off: for the first 3 months on a monthly plan, or once on an annual plan, on Pro or Teams, with no code. Our Bolt link is a referral link, and any Bolt user’s link gives the same discount.
